He could be that boy, But I'm not that girl.

in mere two hours, i hav to go for a sunday drive.
will meet my sis down the boulevard at three-ish. tapi oh tapii.. saya malas mandiii! *grin*
oh dont mind the title (i know someone who'd fuss about it.. *wink*)

you know what,
last night, out of the ordinary, I went crazy for the new mp3 search on mp! LOL started to download heaps of old indo tunes. Heck, i even downloaded nike ardilla! turns out, her tune wasnt the light of my day. Instead, feeling nostalgic with Andre hehanusa's tunes. Aaah! I remember the good 'ol days listening to his songs. Kuta Bali, KKEB were the most memorable. I miss my married-cousin! LOL being married, she don't live with us no more and live way far from my hometown. Well, I too don't live in my childhood house anymore, so, we're much farther apart. Huhu.. I miss you heaps!! I've once found Arkarna's song on Imeem, and started to thought of her too. She loved that song, the only Arkarna's song she loved.

Malang terasa jauh sekali ya..
padahal kalau udah di jakarta, naik pesawat juga gak ada sejam, naik kereta juga gak ada shari, naik mobil.. yah shari lah (but the road trip that counts! if driving.)

Maybe I long for someone like her, older and (sometimes) wiser. At least, someone who wudn't left me wonder with my thoughts and actually gives a damn.

Oh well, where were we?
old tunes ryte. haha. been talking gibberish.

I couldnt really remember much of Indo old tunes. you know, the 90s. Thank goodness for supernova, I remember Rida Sita Dewi! then asked a friend on YM, she told me lots of the good ones. Katon, Kla project, Iwa K, HUMANIA tentunya!! God, i remember Jamie Aditya's on one of humania's klip, with his braided long hair. My Gawd! he was so young. We were so young! =P

Krakatau juga tiba2 muncul di antara2 hasil pencarian itu.. wah mantab!
tapi somehow, I still couldn't find lagu lain yg menohok hati seperti Andre's. Any suggestions?

oh if anyone curious of the title (r u dir? :p) its a wicked song, I'm not that girl.

" Hands touch, eyes meet
Sudden silence, sudden heat
Hearts leap in a giddy whirl
He could be that boy
But I'm not that girl."

i'm preparing myself for next year's wicked. in between, indulge my ears with the good sounds of cirque du soleil's varekai. The latter, i'd feel like im in a forest! adem!!

Ah sudahlah, im past gibberish talk.
time to get my ass up the bean bag, dan mandiii kamuuuh!!!!!!!

ini itu dan lain lain, versi desember

Duh mati gaya.

2007 hampir selesaiii !! hanya menghitung hari.. 3 hari lagi, TIGA teman teman!
baca sini situ, sana kemari... ah, smua isinya resolusi, resolusi, dan lagi-lagi resolusi. belum lagi rekap kehidupan 2007.

So, Selamat tinggal 2007. Apa kabar kamu, 2008?

Semua orang sibuk ngerekap dan mendaur ulang keinginan dan harapan2 mereka untuk dijalanin lagi taun depan. Yah, namanya resolusi. I dont do resolutions just because I never do 'em right.

Tema gak jauh2 beda, paling nyerempet2 sedikit. Penghujung taun selalu diributkan dengan goals untuk taun kedepan. Ditulis dengan huge bold font (biar stuck in mind!), R e s o l u s i: DIET! Cari partner hidup!

Halah. Basi, jendral! Basi.

Gak usah deh taun depan.
NYE, zilch plans.
Those midnight fireworks are so last year. (basi maksudnya!)
apalagi setelah ngecek weather forecast NYE will be a freakishly steaming 41 degrees bokkk!! i'll melt instantly inside those crowds and in that weather!!

tapi, to stay at home on NYE, sounds very sad, isn't it?
New Years Eve gitu loh!

Aaah! I'm outta plans.
at a time like this, i prefer staying home in Indo and tease my lil niece.

whatever deh.
eh btw, apa hanya karena hari itu udah di declare jadi hari pesta sedunia, apa iya jadi orang rumahan pada hari itu jadi terlihat nista??
bingung ya? nevermind...

on entirely different note,
do you know?

The Queen made her way to the YouTube clan!
quite shocking for a royal monarch to enter a unrestricted media exposure as such.
If you're that curious, check the Queen's channel www.youtube.com/theroyalchannel.
There's also a glimpse of HRH. prince william and henry there, if you're interested, that is.

Queen's made her 7 minutes greetings about Christmas, family, and of course a teensy bit of politics and whatnot. The other clips pretty much like a guide tour inside the royal household. Dengerin aja suara naratornya, sperti suara yang di audio device in every museums! tacky.

oh well. sebatas ini aja clotehan hari ini.

selamat bersenang senang di penghujung 2007, NYE, dan taun 2008!

Happy New Year!

its coming its coming its coming!!

WICKED is coming to town!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

mark your calendar, people! JULY 2008!! Regent theatre.
Be there.

Entah kenapa dari awal ngeliat kata2 itu dipajang gede di depan Melbourne University, I fell in love instantly.

Death at a funeral

Since its first premiere, all I've heard about Death at a funeral is how ridiculously funny the movie is. Of course, seeing the trailer and all British casts I wouldn't expect the ordinary Hollywood comedy. And true that I was. The movie is very British, both acts and comedies.

The funeral.
An occasion where people mourn, the vibe is very dark, gloomy and depressed.
All's a given at a funeral.

However, not for the recently deceased Daniel's Dad's funeral.
A proper and respectful send-off has been prepared days earlier, but only led to chaos during the Wake. Starting of with the mistaken "delivery" from the mortuary, then welcoming Daniel's very dysfunctional family including the uncle and his children, and a potential blackmail from a very peculiar little man that ends disastrous.

Daniel, who has been the "good son", is confronted with all these hard tasks.

As said earlier, funeral is a day to mourn. It's gloomy, dark, and depressed. Thats what the black colors at a funeral represent, isn't it? Unfortunately, the only character stays to fit the situation is the Mother, who always in-tune as the mourning widow throughout the movie.

Acid also made few appearances in Death at a Funeral, although always mistaken for Valiums. There, you see where some of the chaos began.

There are funny bits that are too horrific too imagined, let alone, to see it visually on the big screen! Horror banget! It's the toilet mishap, see it, and you'll know what I mean.

Applause to the writer and director for making a funny movie situated on a funeral service, of course, without being disrespectful to what funeral is supposed to mean.

and definitely, I don't mean it to be a crack-show...

"You're the boss, applesauce! "

Factory Girl the movie is about Edie Sedgwick.

Many have criticized this movie about the misguided relationship between Andy Warhol, Bob Dylan and Edie. The two big-names, Warhol and Dylan, have become the world's legends. However, they don't necessarily always be the center of everything, including this movie. The belle of the ball is Edie Sedgwick.

When watching this movie, see yourself in Edie's shoes.
Factory Girl is, after all, a story about the life of New Yorker's high socialite in the 60s --Edie Sedgwick.

My first impression of it was good story line. At least, I get to know the life of manhattaners long before the Devil Wears Prada and Shopaholics rule the city in this 21st era. Honestly, I've never heard of Edie Sedgwick before the movie. I've heard of Andy Warhol, but only limited to his works.

One character is missing his personality. His story isn't explained in detail (prolly due to lawsuits and all).

It is the Musician. (supposedly to portray Bob Dylan)
He, the musician, act a saint, speaks in very peculiar dialogs and is no material for an eccentric manhattaners.

Perhaps, Hayden as the musician wasn't the perfect casting. or maybe, the musician himself was a flawed character.

Factory Girl, tells a life of a poor disrupted rich girl named Edie Sedgwick. She took off from art school cambridge to live in NY. Enter, Scott Wein. He took Edie under his wing and introduce her into the Manhattan's social crowd. There she met Andy Warhol.

The story developed into the life in the Factory - a studio of Andy Warhol - and the making of a Superstar - Edie Sedgwick. The confused relationship between Andy Warhol and Edie Sedgwick. The drug addiction life of Edie. The smitten Edie to a famous folk singer --the Musician. And The dysfunctional aristocrat family of the Sedgwicks.

Although the Factory Girl clearly giving a unpleasant reputation for Bob Dylan and especially, Andy Warhol. However, if that's what really happened or partially happened in the past or in the life of Edie Sedgwick, why criticized and refuse to believe?

Is it the bigger their names, the more pretentious the life they're living in?
Edie Sedgwick's laugh says it all.
"fluttery debutante laugh, that mixture of Warholian cool and little-girl terror," Cinematical

t(w)eens & opportunities

Selama target marketnya Teens/Tweens (2T) any business you do will sell out, won't it? Temen gue pernah cerita tentang rencana dia bikin business sama her Hubby2B (call him: H2B) di Jakarta. Mereka udah mengkategorikan 3 hal yang people wouldn't care much on spending money.
1. Birth
2. Marriage
3. Death

I'm quite disagree, somehow. But couldn't find the right explanation. Except for death. Maybe yes, the family in grief wouldn't want any hassle to send-off their loved ones, but does it means cash-out everything you have?

Then, I look up his page. Let's call him TpG. Bisnis dia menggebrak dunia persilatan di jkt. Tapiii.. memang targetnya mostly untuk 2T. Makanya, as i said earlier, mungkin kalo targetnya 2T, they would cash-out loads for their interest, wouldn't they? Tapi iya, price and cost might be tricky. Not all in this market could spend excessively given the pocket money from parents are very differ. Parents income plays a role? TpG bisa aja menargetkan ke market yang berbeda given his broader knowledge. But he didn't. Mungkin dia melihat target yang sekarang cukup memuaskan bisnisnya?

Try this situation.
Given the baby booming in Jakarta now. I call it baby boom since the population's still growing and many young families with 1-2 children. Take aside the 2T market. Aren't these young families could become the new market? I was thinking of that. But apparently, the products wouldn't as likeable as the common/everyday goods (ie. clothing & accessories, entertainment, gadgets). For now, it's the outside appearance that matters. The inside? meh, if the shell's this beautiful, who would care bout the inside? (take general public's view, not the minority intellectuals).

Such common goods are vary in price. You get the cheap knock-offs everywhere. Hence with whatever income you're earning, you get to spend for these common goods. Theyre like.... necessities?

How about education?
The idea of birth, marriage, and death as business prospects is because people wouldn't think much about cashing-out on these 3 occasions.

When thinking education... we think, re-think, and re-rethink (hehe maksa) on many possibilities, contingencies, and abilities. They say, the very first lesson we received is from family. Then why not start there. Mixing family and education.

Thing is, stuck on the question - does parents' income play a role?

It seems very much so.
Hence how you target? to much higher society?

Only to struggle, will they buy or just passing by? Given the possibility that higher society doesn't necessarily become a part of that minority intellectuals, do they?

Then back to the conclusion on whether
2Ts are really better for business prospects?

heyho.. this chica's back!

after a long month away... i'm back! internet is up and running.
i've been with my family for a month. it's very refreshing. I got to spend lots time with my baby niece. She talks alot. You know, word by word not in sentences since she's still learning to talk. Most memorable moment with her was when I asked her to kiss me and she did, but afterwards she holds her nose and said "bau.. bau!". LOL and yeah of course I hadn't take a bath at the time. Nevertheless, I scored big time since she don't really give kisses to anyone. Thats how snotty she is. HAHA

Biar gitu, tetep aja ngangenin!

Now I'm back to routines and pursue whats been planned years ago.
Feelings are different here.

Jakarta's on full alert for "musim kawin" ergo "get married!" the movie is perfect for its premier few months back! Getting surrounded with such situation kinda set your mind into it too. Although it's never been what you're after for now, but quite ticks your curiousity. If shakespeare ever gotten into this situation, he wouldve asked, Do I or Don't I?

Jakarta is also full of glamour glitz. There's no balance for a laidback simplicity. It's a very pretentious urban living. TV is our master and infotainments are the dark lords. Everyday, civillians are served with various of beautiful lies. I dunno, maybe its a virtually picture perfect escape from reality. (make sense?) As much as I criticize the city, the country, I'd always come back and call it home. I'm stuck with it. nyeh, what can u do?

Back to the root is also a quick reminder of the motivation thats been lost in transit. Those judging eyes burn my temporarily amputated spirit inside. Yearn for success, for acceptance, and vengence? Does anger yield motivation? Or is it dissapointment?
The desire to break free and earn freedom.
... is the final destination.

Wha...
Hm, the word whatever needs to cross-off the vocabulary, now.

Anyway.. as said earlier, back to routines and responsibilities.
I have to give quite an earful to 2 real estate agents this monday morning. fix all the apparently unsolved matters from a month ago. Only thinking abt it makes me jitters.. and tired.

FYI,
I'm still not used to sleeping in my new room. Somehow, I still missed my Apartment 708. I've made rushed decision to shift apartment. It's all been done. Ya sudahlah.

Hmff.. the year's almost end. I've wasted a year.
Resolution for next year is already made.

cross-out the word "M A L A S" from my vocabulary.
not a word of it.

The word's been planted in my mind for ages and seems like i'm stuck to it.

I know it's silly.
but worth to try.
you know, not putting a mindset of the word malas, hence, being malas.

'tis my biggest kryptonite, i tell ya.
pray for me will you?

i will remember

Time goes by fast
Got my memories
And they will last
I try to keep it simple
Cause I hate goodbyes
I try to keep it simple
By telling myself

That
I, I will remember you
And all of the things that we've gone through
There is so much I could say
But words get in the way
So, if we're not together
I will remember you
I will remember you

still at Wells, for now.

it's 30 minutes after midnite.
been shuffling itunes for the saddest song man ever made.
these fingers finally gave in when it stops on Mr. A-Z's who needs shelter.
nyeh. gak nendang.

Urgently needed.
The saddest song in the entire universe.
to fill the void background in this life, as it happens now.
It's a heartbreak.
but in a different love tale.

emptiness persists.
change is life, so they said.
the wide open road ahead blindsided my sights..
thumpthumping heart rate.

keep on reminding in mind
change is life.

change is life, babe.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.
and jump you must.

27/10 the milestone.

nyeh. I hate being mushy.

stupid love songs might cure. the saddest song man ever made, Glenn's? =grin=

a paypal virgin got raped!*

Yes, it's yours truly.
A name-calling specifically said by a friend just this morning. First-timer using paypal funds just to buy a branded bag available only in the frickin uncle sam's land and end-up being scammed. Well, not entirely true yet since the dispute is still investigated.

Aah! menyebalkan!
the bag seems unworthy the trouble, now.

movers and shakers

moving house!
Ackk! time has come. leaving this place I called home.
after all the anxiety of looking for the next perfect home, it finally comes to this.
leaving the old behind and on to the new/different phase ahead.
A part of me feeling excited to find out whats the north side of Melbourne can offer me...
another, is finding it difficult to let go the comfortable now.

On that tram earlier tonight, I realized, the view from work to home will be completely anew. I'll be walking on the north side of the road. Life's been mostly spent on south east. Wonder how will things change? doki doki. -_-

too sentimental for such tiny matter?
perhaps.

on the up side!!
the new home is brighter and bigger than any home i've ever lived in! shud be good, then.

Happily Welcoming the city of Moreland.

tentang film Indonesia

weekend kemarin nonton marathon film indonesia. Judulnya siiih "Indonesian Film Festival" yang diadain di Melbourne. Seperti menyenangkan, bukan? Well, dirangkum cukup dalam 3 kata saja.

Sedangkan Nico dan adinia, mereka inspired me to go for a roadtrip jakarta - jogja anytime soon. pengen pengen pengen!!! roadtrip sendirian? gak seru!! Anyone?? yuk yuk yuk????

ceritanyaaa.. menganggu. the last sex scene between cousins? nggak banget. I bet they cut this scene di Indo kan? hehe we got the uncut version of it. 14 censored scenes in Indo cinemas easily got uncut here in Melbourne. Tenang tenang. gak penting. Lebih menghebohkan adegan first kissnya Rangga dan Cinta daripada sex scene Ambar dan Yusuf si sepupu. ;)

Sebenarnya, gue gak tau 3 hari untuk selamanya itu berceritakan tentang apa.

It's a trashy review. Yeah, well, I dont intend to do a review. just rambling thoughts. Cant be bothered to review from the storyline or cinematografi or whatever that teensy bits of movie production thingo. Point is, I just wanna trash the movies. Ha!

wordplay

Brondong panas. permisi permisi!!

Check this boy out!! he's one of the finalist of Aussie Idol 2007. Matt Corby.
Guess how old he is.

Hes just a mere sixteen year old!! SIX-BLOODY-TEEN?!?!
Garsh made me feel damn old but still uh-uh-gaga for this one hella hot young dude.

He caught the audience (and judges) attention from day 1, ie. the audition.
Not just he got the looks, the style, but also the talent.
His choice of music is older than his age.
He chose stevie's superstitious for audition, challenged himself for a led zeppelin's rock pick and touchdowned of dance tune from earth, wind and fire.
What's cool is that he already has his own style. Emo with a touch of arabian scarf! Hot with a hint of quirkiness. fashion touchdown? haha cheeky.

Matt knows his audience.
and he deliver.

is it just good looks?
or talent plays a role?

Well, to me he's gonna go a long way in the competition for both reasons.

Aaah! imma sucker for reality tv shows.
Idol should be grateful having Dicko back on that judges seat! if not for him, I wouldnt even get a glimpse of Idol this year.

Hating Kyle, as always.
Dicko's already in, why not kicked kyle off the seat?? He's such an eyesore!

blargh useless talk about the judges.

Back to Matt.

He has all the ticks for being a pop-icon.
Maybe the next dean geyer?
Whoa... ya ya ya, his genre falls right into dean's market.
pop/rock, good looks, cheeky smile, skinny jeans & leather jacket style.

Just hope he'll get a label deal when off the idol competition.
Ergo we can see how he competes in the real world.

on thing.s.

the past two days... been listening to cheesy pop songs. Know Jesse Mccartney? Yeah, Him included! and don't forget Britney. Halah! Any reason? I see none.

Check this!
It's awesome.

Makes me wanna dance. Although I have zilch coordination. HA!
I always wonder why the ladies often wear skimpy dresses if not for the hip-hop pick. Hip Hop style tends to be more... ghetto(?) whatever that means. Otherwise, skin is fashion. All the ladies contestants always show off their body by "stripping" on stage. Use as little as much of cloth hanging on to your body, is prolly good for dance movement? You tell me.

on real life update:
I might going north this time.
It's a stranger's island to me as I've lived most of my time in south east.
Maybe different is good?
Aah! pusing pusing.
Property prices are a kill! Rental's really ripping me off this time of year.
the hunting starts today.
hateful.

The almighty networking

Friendster..

Facebook.....
Multiply.......
Myspace.

We own them. We have account on each of them.
from an innocent "networking" to invasion of privacy.
Myspace and facebook have already made their debut in primetime news and a day in court. (well, more than a day)
but we still own and cherish them accordingly.

heck, I have account on all of them!

Each of 'em have their own specific target market. I still can't figure out why Facebook and Myspace are more widespread than the other two (MP and FS). Here, people barely know about Friendster, let alone Multiply.

We Asians here always say, "buleys go to myspace, Indos (and other asians, not ABCs) go to Friendster. It's just common knowledge". So!! if you wanna stalk someone online, check his/her race first. Buleys? go to myspace. *Wink* LOL Myspace has a better method for stalking online. That, if the person intentionally put their full name on the account. Voila! Their life updates are for these eyes to read! ;)

On this page you see a different side of this person. Same goes for Friendster, facebook and Multiply. To the outside world we often behave to what society sees appropriate, however, the networking tools as such allows our private life made open for public. Intinya, jaim lo ilang di mata publik! =D with exception to those who really are nice inside out --personality-wise. (there are nice people out there, ya know!)

It's a good networking tool, yes true. You'd find some old friends (and flings) coming out of the blue. Thats more precious than say.. stalking online or dating online. But bear in mind, things said publicly may get back at ya later.

having said that, my own things are published online as well.
The Internet isn't a safe playground.
Not that have I dealt with sickos online before, but stories are pretty much around and they're disturbing enough.

anyway,
People nowdays are addicted to Facebook. I have no idea why.
To me, it's full of crap!

Myspace, OK you got music out of it.
Friendster? well, networking only.
Multiply... talent show-off is included.
Facebook? if you have lotsa spare times to kill, log on. You'll numb your brains out.

All in all, these four pretty much alike.
They're started from a simple social networking tool.
Believe it or not, the root is of a dating site such as matchmaking.com.au.
That's what I've heard.

So, the purpose of these networking sites is first for dating. Ergo, gak salah dong if people "misuse" them for stalking online? The extreme part of dating.

The creators of these sites must get rich instantly. Oh how I envy them --the rich part, not getting sued. =D

when new social networking site coming up, count me in! ^^
trick is, be safe not to publish everything honestly, online!

update:
only been a day, another site is found.

infotainment pagi

mo nulis gak penting, boleh ya?
(kyk sblomnya ada yg penting aja! :p)

Kamis pagi, menunggu subuh.
itunes tercinta shuffling seenaknya dari 4000-ish kumpulan lagu yang udah melebihi kapasitas itu. It goes from newly downloaded White Plain T's to Britney Spears. Yes, a very old tune of Ms. Spears. Back when she was this innocent girl.

Honestly, I like her tunes when she was just baby, one more time. Her so-called adulthood phase is terrifying. At some point, i feel sorry for her. I mean, as we all are to the holly tinseltown's assets is to judge and bitch about, Ms. Spears is of course no exception. Here I am, in a slightly mellow tone of judgement, can honestly say that the current exposé of Ms. Spears is too much of a white trash celeb. Well, at least she made it to become the current courtney love. Pitty, instead infamously achieved the title for being the widowed of a famous musician-who-ODed-but-insanely-talented, Ms. spears only earned her title for being married to a hardcore loser Mr. Kevin Federline. Pitty, such a pitty, indeed.

Some people would still expect her to be reunited to her baby-love, Justin Timberlake. I, personally, would scream of disagreement. Well, on second thought, if JT would ever got OD-ed (**knock of wood**), then Ms. Spears would earn her glorious achievement for being the new-age of Courtney Love. I don't think JT would ever want to be reunited with Britney thou. Would he, now? That'll be a shock if he would.

I hear, shes making a comeback.
What will be her choice of music. She should go for ballad. Will that still work on her? too bad her voice isn't strong enough.

err... i wrote quite a long page just to bicker on one person, don't I?
Pagi2, subuh gini, bulan Ramadhan, boleh gak sih? hmm..
in my defense, as always, any reason to bitch about everything Hollywood is forgivable. Nggak, Ya? =D

Maybe next time I'll make a page of Paris. Hilton, that is. HA!

Alrighty, up we go.
Fajr Prayer starts.

hehehe cheeky.

time to leave

after 3 years, it's time to leave.

'til we meet again, on Wells.

Young Sally: He will hear my call a mile away, he will whistle my favourite song, he can ride a pony backwards-

Young Gilly: What are you doing?

Young Sally: I'm summoning up a true love spell called Amas Spiritas, he can flip pancakes in the air, he will be marvellously kind, and his favourite shape will be a star. And he'll have one green eye, one blue.

Young Gilly: I thought you never wanted to fall in love.

Young Sally: That's the point. The guy I dreamed up doesn't exist, and if he doesn't exist, I'll never die of a broken heart.

愛 ~ Love according to Lil' Sally. It's just A Practical Magic. Ja, what Amas Spiritas you'd like to summon?

pointless whinging

The word don't etched in mind. It happened! Finally in black and white, the black list has been encrypted. The name's on top the list.

Feelings run amok!
All reasoning have no meaning.

The word leave is highlighted, but does it become the act of running away?
A second there, hatred embraced. To whom is not yet clear.

Ya know, when the thing you concern most is written in bold caption and for public to see, then whatchu gonna do?

Cry and weep,
angry and mourn,
pasrah and move on,
or revolt?!

My heart tells me to go, leave!
just to hell with them.

You'd say, running away again are we?
When you do realized, you're running out of space to run.

Ah! those fuckers be damned!

Is just another entry of pointless whinging.

Random Entry

The days been extremely mundane.
for a not so much of a party-goer, nothing much can be done.
no hitting the clubs, cruisin' the bars on weekend, or just a wild night-out on the town. emphasize on the word, no.

work, is just work. this and that. the same shit everyday.

you know what i always wanted to do? at least, try to do. photography. cuma jepret sana. jepret sini. sok artistik, padahal 70% faktor lokasi yang memang udah indah untuk di dokumentasikan.

lalu berlanjut dengan keinginan untuk bisa nulis. you know, creative writing. not for publicity, just for personal pleasure.

and wanna know what's more exciting? to learn japanese and/or french. Bonjour!
I took a Nihongo 1 short course a while back at Uni. It was fun! to learn new words and writings. Unfortunately, now they're all gone. Couldn't remember a single hiragana. what a waste. Now, I'd like to try again. To learn new words and phrases.

Sayangnya, short course for these subjects are not quite affordable. They're frikken pricey ya know! Self-learning? there's no such determination as yet. =D

Sometimes I have lotsa wants, but never act on any.
What does that make me?

Oh well.
on an entirely different note,
Ramadhan is here.
Time of the year when I miss Jakarta more than ever.
It's like party party party in one whole month!

Senandung Ramadhan pun terdengar dimanapun kita melangkah.
Indahnya..

uuhh, kangen.

eh kamu!! aku iri dengan acara buka puasa kalian di plaza semanggi nanti! huh! Ikut!!

my autumn journey

sorrento

The seaside village of Sorrento is one of the most popular and well-known holiday escapes on the Mornington Peninsula. Most of Sorrento’s attractions are within walking distance and the town has earned acclaim for its fine buildings, many made from local limestone giving them a unique character. Impressive hotels, excellent eateries, sidewalk cafes, boutiques, galleries and specialist shops add extra appeal to the Sorrento experience.

The gentle front beach is an ideal place to wile away some time, have a picnic, go for a stroll, take a cooling swim or keep watch for wild bottlenose dolphins which frolic in the clean bay waters. For some surf-pounding action, the back beach on the Bass Strait side of the peninsula is close by. Sorrento offers a long list of other recreational opportunities, including golf, bushwalking, sailing, scuba diving, fishing and boating. taken from here

sydney week-away!

the forum on saturday night

The Forum Melbourne presents: Katie Noonan - Skin!

**above clip taken from earlier gig at the Metro in Sydney. I didn't record that night's gig at the Forum. But Sydney's pretty much alike so a memory is already well documented anyway. Katie was amazing, as always. Her music and vocals are very soothing. Although I'm not quite satisfied in terms... well, let's put it this way, I like her better with George. During the 2 hours gig, my mind wandered off for almost half the night. If not for Mr. Percival, I'd fall asleep. I know, it's a horrid truth for any musicians to get first impression as such from their audience. It could be from the fact that I don't quite know Katie Noonan's first solo album and only familiar with her George's tunes. Atau memang dengerin Katie Noonan cocoknya dirumah sambil ngerenung2 gak penting? Saying that, it feels as though her music is a bit... insignificant?
She did a "tribute" of the song Crazy by Gnarls Barkley. Awesome! I found a youtube of it, but not quite the same as the one she sang at the Forum.**

oh! the opening act.
Mr. Percival.
How cool was he? All the looping vocal pedal-y thingy. Ah, so very sophisticated are you to explain, dear. Here's better:
"Some people respond to art by challenging and transforming the mainstream culture. Mr.Percival isn't what you expect. There are few artists who live in their instrument. Literally. A single voice, multiplied to an ensemble via the magic of a looping pedal, Mr.Percival creates a world of music and sound. His vocal origami ranges from the tribal sounds of 'Down In Africa' to the dirty, hip-grinding groove of 'Brown Sugar'. Mr.Percival is an engaging, enigmatic performer taking the audience on a vocal journey, exploring and creating musical landscapes. With his edgy wit and his laid back attitude the 'Out Of The Loop' show is unrestrained and fun. Really fun"

He surely did a warm up session for the audience, which created a more lively ambiance into the theater. The gig ended with Mr. percival back onto the stage and jam together with Katie. It was sensational. loved it!

Next gigs:
Sneaky Sound System and Missy Higgins.

Sayangnya I can't go cos the two gigs are on when I'll be in Indo next November-December. Blech.

fresh from the oven

did i tell?
he's in a musical. Oh how very Jay Rodriguez of you.
Currently playing at Melbourne Uni.
Can I see your musical, dear? Can I? Can I? ;)

baby, I aint even keep my cool.

Hff... kehidupan cinta indah hanyalah buaian maya.

smile

This is me.
telling the world how two-faced am i.

For a very moody personality, I can switch my moods on and off just like that! With reasons, of course.
When I'm at home being me... I take all out in the laundry basket and switched to comfy pyjamas. Ergo, the overly sensitive yours truly.

My fake smiles have been punk'd out.
They're clearly see-through from everyone's eyes.
Maybe insincerity caused it to look weird to someone else's eyes. Them stares so judgemental, I always thought.

Perhaps, 'tis my eyes need to be fixed.
People see. People feel.
Your sincerity.

and I just don't deliver. Never did.

Maybe today she's the only one has said it out loud?

Your cover has been blown.
Maybe it's time to learn about being sincere?

Tapi, all in my head tells me to leave.
It's time to leave.
to a place where numbers and mute silence are around.
Give the people-person character to another candidate. For mine is already worn out.
It's a temp job.
Forme.

And it's all started with a smile.
or lack there of.

Then comes reality. Then comes sincerity.
The only thing that comes between them
is me.

As if I'm homer swinging between rock and a hard place that is reality and sincerity.
Words are just a ploy.
To make a good of myself.

Ja, Whatchu gonna do?

We all make choices. What's yours?

L'ultimo bacio

Kim: The world's moving so fast now and we're all chasing something so fast now that we start freaking out way before our parents did.
We dont ever stop to breathe anymore.

Michael: Just been thinking about my life lately, and everything feels pretty planned out, you know.
It's like i know everything thats going to happen.
There are no more surprises.

Kim: so what do you do?
Michael: complain, I guess.

"You cant fail if you don't give up"

The Last Kiss
is a remake of Italian movie L'ultimo bacio. After Garden State, i'd be expecting as much from Zach Braff. They're all quite.. err, depressing. Although both of 'em tell us aboutthe hurdles in life really are about. The honest truth.

The ending was never a disappointment. Although it seems like a happy ending but when I remember it again... both the ending (red: Garden State and The Last Kiss) are seen as "the new beginning" instead of "happily ever after".

It's more realistic, don't you think?

Zach Braff as the lead actor always played the man with a lot of deep thoughts. Be it necessary or unnecessary ones. In Last Kiss, he is a 29 year old man having second thought about settling down. Sorta a pin-point, doesnt it? when the number reach the big three. I thought when we reached the legal age of twenty-one, we were asked to mature and act as our age and stop fooling around.

I guess thats just the Asian in me.

Twenty-one is the beginning, prolly for most of 'em out there. Thats when you start all the "legal" fun. That'll turn around when the number reach thirty. It's when you are obligated to really act your age and be mature.

The movie tells us similar to that... well, er, from men's point of view.

The time to settle down. and that'll be it.

What's the word?
Cold-feet. Yeah thats it.

He was too scared to move on to a new beginning and instead, began to find different alternative. A more fun alternative. Refusing to settle down and take responsibilities and be grateful to what life has given him.

The midlife "crises" are what they're called.

For Michael, he ended up to defeat his "crises" and made a jump on his life, facing his future.
As I said, It's not just about a happy ending. It's the new beginning.

There scenes that tell you most about the movie set out clearly in two different slots.

1. Kim and Michael at the Tree House

2. Michael at the front porch of Jenna's House.

That's Michael... and his life.

It's a pretty straightforward movie, after all. Prolly the original is sexier given the "italian-made" trademark. Ha!

It's a different view from here I see. That dark gloomy wall you've been trying hard to build, just cracked down with a flip of a hand. Thanks to your newfound love.

.....through blogging.

it's a funny thing really. the blogging world.
People can go infamous just because his/her blogs jadi tempat kunjungan rutin. You know these people, but you don't really know 'em for real. Their most inner-thoughts are well-written in poems and rhymes and witty words. They know nothing of the other persons who walked-in to their secret chambers. Yet, these bloggers don't mind sharing with us, the unknown others.

Here I am, a living proof.
Knowing you, but not really "know" you.

I instantly recognizes that it's You.
You walked in through that gate this afternoon with your "weird" goatee and slightly shabby hair. Unknowingly a stranger knows You only by words and phrases.

Blogging gives us that. the media to being known.

jeux d'enfants

Jeux d'enfants or Children's games or Love me if you dare, is another frenchy pick for tonight. masih dalam masa2 post-MIFF (melbourne international film festival), the atmosphere is still so "hollywouldn't".

The movie tells you the story of Sophie and Julien, and how they got into the mishaps of life by playing games with their life. Or so thats how i see it.

It begins with a carousel-pictured tin stuck on a concrete. The story revolves around it. you can say, the tin is their lives. Started at a very young age of 8 years old, Julien met Sophie the newbie in town (and school) being bullied. As a nice boy that he was, he cheered her up by giving her the carousel tin. "But you have to lend it to me sometimes" He said. Sophie replied, and this is where the story (really) began, "if you want it back, you have to earn it". It's the truth or dare ploy, but without the "truth" ever being played.

The dares they played always immense along with their age. In between, love grew. As if love isn't already twisted enough, Julien and Sophie "game or no game" act made it more complex.

Julien and Sophie trapped in their own game and in a disturbing way, they're enjoying it. It becomes the challenge in their lives. Tanpanya, kehidupan ini hanyalah suatu perjalanan yang sangat panjang dan membosankan.

The "dare of dares" concludes their winding love story, but not the end of the jeux d'enfants (children's games).

The movie falls into the romantic comedy genre. Surprisingly, the comedy only came few bits at the beginning (i love the "slap the gym teacher" dare! effin funny to see the teacher's face bullied by his students! total cracker!). I dare say, there's no romanticism whatsoever in the movie. Their love story is too psychopathic to follow. It's very unrealistic for a typical happy-ever-after tale.. Pastinya... sangat tidak Amerika.

and the second last scene of the movie is a bit off. the "buried us alive in a concrete cement" is quite disturbing and not quite get the message out. Why's the scene have to exist??

I'm torn between love or loath this movie. I like the first half of it, but story gets complicated when came the realization to the meaning of adulthood. That's when the love story kicked in... and that's when it get confusing.

Even Sophie said: "Love me... Is it just a game for you?"

The Phantom is here.

The phantom of the opera has come to Melbourne. I saw the show today at Princess Theater, Spring St. It's the second time I watched The Phantom. The first was in Las Vegas.

Melbourne show was also spectacular as the one I saw in LV. Sayangnya, princess theater terlalu kecil untuk menampung kegelapan phantom. the chandelier juga tidak menari dengan leluasa seperti teater di Paris Venetian Hotel, Las Vegas. Yeah, we lack extraordinaire theater. Regardless, the performance was beautifully done.

Although my seat was irritating as hell. with the tall pillar blocking my view!

The songs are very enchanting. All I ask of you is my best pick. Raoul and Christine had the chemistry when they sung it. It is as if I'm watching the corniest love story with the roof-top scenery and i'll-die-for-you theme. ::hehe:: but nothing corny about the phantom of the opera, 'course.

The youtube taken from Phantom of the Opera movie.

Melbourne's Raoul is more good-looking than the movie Raoul. You know, FYI.
and sadly to see that the movie version doesn't have the scene where Raoul put his arms on Christine's shoulders and they started swinging side to side. Aduh, susah jelasinnya, you have to see it yourself. But that scene was really beautiful! I loved it. At first, I thought "ewh, how cheesy", but then, when the song started to rise up, the hugging doesnt seem corny at all. I loved it, in fact.

About the phantom.
Jujur aja, phantom melbourne kurang menarik hati. Di bayangan gue Phantom itu seorang yang fragile, insecure, dan sangat posesif ke Christine. Oh, dan dia seorang yang lebih tua dari Christine. Slightly younger than Christine's dad but much older than Christine herself. Tapi sepertinya fisik yang cocok memerankan Phantom cuma terlihat di panggung Las Vegas. Uh, sangat disayangkan gue gak melihat act broadwaynya, Where the real musicals come to life.

Phantom yang aku lihat kemaren, untuk seorang phantom yang fragile dan sedikit "gila", dia terlalu energetic dan aktif. kasarnya, petakilan banget! ::hehehe:: Tapi nyanyiannya book. suaranya jernih sejernih evian. halah apa sih!

The music will somewhat give you goosebumps along with the darkness of the Phantom's theater. All in all, Christine's voice can give you shivers. Raoul's good-looks (hehe) and undying love for Christine can make you die of envy. last but not least, the phantom's dark life and angelic (uh, er?) voice steal the show.

the mystery behind "G" and "9"

first off, i copied this from an fs page (maaf ya, nyolong)
"9w T'giLa" supErnoVa.
Tapi 9w 9a b'Harap."

I have no idea why s/he can't just type G in replace for a 9! it's a fucking NUMBER NINE not the LETTER G! When writing UpS and DoWnS like this isn't yet forgiven, now these so-called "anak gaul" in todays teens write too many typos. It's ridiculously insane to grasp their ways to good literature. What's funny is that when I was their age, apparently, my writings are pretty much the like. *grin* It's more widespread now with the internet literacy rising high. New year, new breeds of teens. These things (cara menulis gaul) would never end. I guess it's time to take a deep breath (really2 deeeep breath!) and let it go, or teach 'em the right lessons!

So, that's that

What really happened after that nineteen years....

Rowling also shared with fans, many of whom said they'd read the final book several times in the last week, where she imagines their favourite wizards and witches went after the series' conclusion.

Rowling said the world was a sunnier, happier place after the seventh book and the death of Voldemort.

Harry Potter, who always voiced a desire to become an Auror, or someone who fights dark wizards, was named head of the Auror Department under the new wizarding government headed by his friend and ally, Kingsley Shacklebolt.

His wife, Ginny Weasley, stuck with her athletic career, playing for the Holyhead Harpies, the all-female Quidditch team. Eventually, Ginny left the team to raise their three children - James, Albus, and Lily - while writing as the senior Quidditch correspondent for the wizarding newspaper, the Daily Prophet.

Harry's best friend Ron Weasley joined his brother, George, as a partner at their successful joke shop Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. Hermione Granger, Ron's wife and the third leg of the series' dark wizard fighting trio, furthered the rights of subjugated creatures, such as house-elves, in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures before joining the magical law enforcement squad. The couple had two children - Rose and Hugo.

Luna Lovegood, Harry's airily distracted friend with a love for imaginary animals who joins the fight against Voldemort in the Order of the Phoenix, becomes a famous wizarding naturalist who eventually marries the grandson of Newt Scamander, author of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

the bridget jones alert

Australia's hit by a serious drought!
no no.. with this one we don't need to restrict our water usage.

Aussie's facing a serious man drought.
Yes. Aussie is lacking eligible single men of thirty-something.

Although the matter's not entirely original, since it has been on the news about a year ago. However, statistics this year have flare it with facts.

"The "man drought" was revealed in a report by accounting firm KPMG, whose analysis of official statistics showed a widening gap between the sexes in Australia.

In every age group between 29 and 55, women outnumbered men. The hardest hit was the generation in their 30s, where there were 20,000 more women than men — a stark contrast to 1976 when there were 54,000 more men than women. More..."

A year ago, Today Tonight presented the news to help single women of thirty-something to find the "One". This year, when statistics have shown the horrid proof, the nation is on full alert for the Bridget Jones complex. You see, women who are desperate to settle down are more scarier for the nation compared to Dr. Haneef's accusation. ::LOL - joke okee joke::

Given the situation, the benefit falls on the Men side. Hence why women are getting hitched overseas.
"When the numbers turn the other way men realise they don't have to commit and get to play the field and the numbers are allowing them to get away with it." They said it better than I did. Although the same I've said before.

Funnily enough, the country is almost packed because of migrations from many countries. yet, Aussie's still lacking people?! The laws not make it easier to migrate here as well. When Government currently encouraging women to settle down and start a family. Answer this, how they are to do that when all the eligible single men are hiding in God-knows-where.

This situation might not be happening in Asia, or at least not in Indonesia, I spose. Given the rate of population growth is rising and the men and women are of equal statistics. Or maybe, in Indo we count polygamy in the statistics? causing unequal statistics of men and women to become equal? confused? hehe I'm beginning to.

i feel sorry for Australia though.
They're facing the never-ending drought caused by climate change, now came in man-drought as well? Halah. what is it with Aussie and drought?
Serasa di anak tirikan.
Udah benua paling nyempil di bawah, iklim menggenaskan, populasi seret, dan jumlah lelaki berpotensi pun dikalkulasikan menyurut.

wayward mind

the past weeks have been living in zombie phase. you say to push yourself to the limit. embrace your weakness to become your strength, which means, to twist your mind and attitude to be different than usual. if you can pull it off, you gain the better you.

But what if, the opposite happens? it's like living a limbo. Everything just so confused and awkward. Fake smiles are just about few hundreds to giveaway. When it's lapsed the expiry date, there's no motivation or strengths left to go for another round. The verbal words are limited for the socially awkward crowd. The first step has been taken years ago, there's no turning back. What will happen then?

It is said earlier that whinge-fest is about to happen. well, it's happening.
It mustn't continue, but how?

Even the zombie phase is on its peak. Nothing but a happy mode to twist this mood around. But to get to that... is nothing but a long winding road to drive through. There's an old saying, Where there is smoke there is fire. You see, all we need now is just the fire for a head start.

Let's lit that torch, then.
easier to say than done.

spiderpig big-screen debut.

The Simpsons family made their first step out of the house couch to cinema seats. First comment after Homer's final big-screen D'oh was it's very American. the whole "inconvenient truth" agenda, Homer having "epiphany" hence saves the day, and even the typical Simpsons dysfunctional family shebang. The jokes are too very American *i think*. The "between rock and a hard place" phrase is so American, isnt it?

I still enjoy it alot thou. I love the naked skateboarding scene. There's a part where it's so crayon sinchan! ::hehehe::

I have nothing much to say but -amerika banget deh.

Having said that, I have no regret whatsoever watching the Simpsons' Movie. After all, Homer's still the D'oh Master. You cannot not love him.

He did compose a -surprisingly- very catchy jingle for his Hollywood debut.

"Spiderpig, Spiderpig! Does whatever Spiderpig does!
Look out! Here is Spiderpig!"

I mean, who else but Homer could've pulled this off, eh?

lady lara croft

lagi nonton lara croft's tomb raider. i used to think it's quite a good movie.
now, seeing it again, i take it as a junk.
well, not entirely. the Cambodia tombs are delightful for the eyes.

the dislike began from the very first scene of the movie.

im sure the boys have noticed them too.
yes. yes.
its them boobies of Jolies.
i cant help but wonder,
most of the camera have precise angles to focus on Jolie's precious assets. when you look at the scenes, you cant help but to notice them there, staring at ya!! those damn tight tees really pop 'em out, don't they? heck, even a loose pajamas have to be unbuttoned up to the chest. Good Jolly good.

silly of me to think the movie's just about adventures and actions. so naive of me.
of course it wouldnt be so with them boobilicious Ange Jolie's there.

and of course, how do see 'em in those huge cinema screens?
humongous!

ahh. filmnya rusak deh.

kiss of death

tau friendster? tau donk. the ultimate networking site itu. although, weird enuf kalo indonesians go to friendster and those buleys go to myspace. biar gw punya 22nya tetep yang kesentuh cuma friendster. mysapi cuma buat iseng cari lagu dan update-an band. so gak penting judulnya.

tapi lately i began to feel, friendster juga sama sampahnya. kayaknya itu2 aja. gak ada yg menarik hati lagi. tapi itu cara ampuh juga buat contact sama temen2 yang jarang di contact, if u get what i mean. sometimes, those kinda friends you don't know their mobile ataupun emailnya. jadi friendster lah yang menjadi juru penyelamat. aside from that, its a crappy thing to own.

biar ampe sekarang juga im still its loyal patron. imma friendsterwhorrre! :P
it'll be good if friendster have this "IM ME" function. so we can chat with other friendsterians. dari dulu its been a fixed program ryte. lebih seru kalo bikin smacem live online thing. ugh, gimana ya jelasinnya.

oh whattheheck lah.

I saw a rainbow today. shone its colors brightly on the afternoon sky, across southbank. i looked up and smiled. i've stopped chasing rainbows but its good to see em up there. brought back memories. melankoli skali ya? well, i have a dramatic mood-swings disorder. its the hormone thing, seriously.

on a different note,
you know mark philopoussis (spell?) guy. hes a tennis player, aussie i think. not very good one tapinya. well, hes on a reality tv show called age of love. sorta like the bachelor but the ladies are a mixed of twenties and forties of age. when i saw the show last night, i dont see mark as the main lead. instead, the ladies are the show.

interesting to see how women of a very different age gap run for their love interest. older women know where they stand. I see their confidence intimidate mark's behavior. his body language speaks for him. he's a child when faced with these forties women. but when hes with the twenties girls, you can see from his face all light-up and flirty. dasar lelaki! :p

i feel respect for the women in their forties though. they don't need a guy like mark. just go on with the show, have some fun, relax, and get the prize money.
win-win.

ahh. im gonna start the whinge-fest again this year.
havent done that much this year, have I?
i'll whinge 'till my head explode, how bout that?

and anehnya lagi, suddenly i want victoria secret.

does that the definition of a good book?

Harry Potter Spoilers

As Said above, it is spoilers. don't read if you wudnt want to know the story.

I have to get this out of me. my heart's pounding so fast, my minds filled with mixed emotions.

I might be biased. rage with emotions could not bear.
It finally ended. truly has ended.
the story of harry potter.
finally reached its final edge.
of course yeah, evil voldie oldie died. that we always thought of.

the tragic to come to that, was hard to bear.
too many deaths brought in one book. for one final closure.
We're still in shock for Dumbledore's death.
But The early chapter we've seen death of the beloved. Hedwig.
and more to come that were more painful.
Mad-Eye was lost during the first battle.
But the most painful loss was of Fred (huwaa Freddieeeeee!!!!!!), dobby, Lupin, Tonks and Snape's Deaths.
Yes, shockingly as it was said, Snape's death was really a painful one, indeed.
as others aficionados of HP has had predicted from previous books that snape might have a good side on him after all. Indeed, they were right. Snape was part of the Order of Phoenix because he was one of the most that loved Harry Potter. Much as Sirius loved Harry. Just because, Snape loved Lily too much.
and Harry knew of this, much too late. =(( =((
I feel for Snape.

To know of these deaths, I couldnt help but to feel ache myself.
I felt like crying and screaming to God knows what. All emotion brought upon us through the journey of Harry Potter's final saga. The truth behind all the secrets.

Rowling really made the end of Harry Potter, ends.
The wizardry world is back to its peaceful state. Harry, Ron, Hermione... the trio and their own little troublemakers.
Harry can finally live. without the major horror of Tom Riddle haunting every move since the day Harry was born.
He is now free.
but with much scars buried within his past.

Although, the ending somewhat left me hanging. Especially about George. With Fred's now gone, what happened to George? None was said about him 'til the end. Even Percy was mentioned at the very end. Why not George? And on epilogue it said, Teddy Lupin snogging Victoire. Who's Victoire???? Potter's cousin, definitely from Weasley's side of the family. But whose kid? Rowling left us totally hanging. Story's complete about Harry, but not really for the rest of the sidekicks.

Honestly, the book really gave me too much pain.
But a fair closure.

I still couldnt tell whether I like or loath it.
or prefer lay flat.

as someone told me few times now.
it's dreadful.

btw, i had this funny feeling when portraying Harry as grown up. Having family and all that.
it's as if, we're watching closely throughout his life.
that adorable bespectacled eleven year old boy.
to this, matured-with-too-much-scars thirty six year old man.

But as i said,
what JK Rowling has present us with Harry Potter and deathly hallows,
is a fair closure.

Bye Harry.

agony, rapture, despair

by the end of chapter 30.
i began to despise JK Rowling.
its too much. too much for a kids tale.
shyytss! this blog's now public pulak.
maap2 it'll be spoiler.

for those who don't want to know the HARRY POTTER AND DEATHLY HALLOWS story, dont read beyond this.

contain spoiler.

the starting point chapter 31 was bloody.
the one i just started to fond of was ghostly rigid.
::sob hysterically::

that despicable Rowling. Even tolkien made tragic journeys so inspiring and mood-lifting.
Rowling, you. You. You. You. Evil you! ><
I hate you.

potter dilemma

bingung.
deathly hallows udah sampe page 461, chapter twenty nine.
flippping pages constantly, gak nyadar only few pages left before it ends for good.
aaah! i dont want it to end.
tapi aku penasaraan..
Tuhan.

i grew fondness of fred weasley since last night.
reference page 359. He can really cheer you up when things go berserk.
gashdarnit! dont want potter to end.. :((

have few hundred pages to go.
sinting gila, baca buku ampe bikin dada gw deg2an.
i put way much feeling into it.

if I say JK Rowling's potter had quite a bit resemblance with Tolkine's Lord of the Ring, would anyone start flying knifes at me? ::hehe::

not the whole story, 'course. and bukan cara penulisan.
tapi somehow when you read the whole content of the book, you'll notice slight similarity. sperti konsepnya mungkin? tapi pastinya, penulisan Tolkien lebih njelimet secara doi lumayan dewanya di genre ini. Btw, genre harry potter dan LOTR apa ya? not so much of a kids book, more to adventure/folklore?

aahh.. im posting this cuma untuk ngulur waktu nyelesein potter. I wanna read slowly, but I cant! When im flipping those pages, I couldnt stop. I read like mad. thats how it got me to this page now in 2 nights. When I wanted to finish it in a bloody frickin week?! :(

im just too weird, thats what i am.
gaah! I have potter inside my head.

harry bid farewell

The launch of JK's final installment of harry potter, Federation Square and Borders Melbourne are packed with wicked wizardry costumes. In this foggy winter morning (7 AM to be exact!!!) people crowd FedSq and Borders just to be part of Harry's extravagant and final adventure. Sponsored by Borders Bookstore, the magic bus also brought to the city of Melbourne for a quick ride for Potter's aficionados.

Sadly to say, I missed all of those.
I have work, believe it or not, from morning til afternoon!
There will be nomore harry potter launching frenzy, ever again!
today was the last one, and i frickin' missed it. GAH!

I'm really excited with this final release, but sad altogether.
This means, there will be nomore harry potter to be expected in the near future. :(
What JK has made for its ending, and that'll be it.

I so wanna know what will happen to harry at the end, but also don't wanna the story to end. Pretty twisted, innit?

oh well, its just a story.
It has to end sometime.

I'm quite stuck with harry for these past, er, 7-8 years?
It's time for a final closure.

anyone else so harry frenzy this month?

Chopin: Etude In C Minor

Gue suka duduk dalam kegelapan, di kamar gw sndiri tentunya.
Blinds jendela ditarik keatas, yg terlihat hanya kegelapan malam sekitar Southbank. Eh, mau tau gak? I've noticed it for a while now, there are two lil stars twinkling brightly every night. Its fun to notice them there. Its quite unsual since not much around with the sparkling metro lights covering the night sky. So, these two are.. uhm, special? hehe. well, theyre just unsual.

lately, gue suka banget di ninabobo-in pake lagu klasik. none particular masterpiece or no particular maestro. tapi malem ini lagi pengen denger chopin. entah knapa. mungkin paling bisa di denger ketimbang yg lain? ah, nggak. Gue gak sok2an act pretentious dengan sok2an lagu klasik. Lagian gue yg bodoh begini mungkin dengan dengerin lagu klasik sambil mo tidur, mungkin bangun tidur jadi pinter? yah, a girl can dream cant she? -- LOL

Dimaafkan lah ya.
Gw klo dengerin musik yg lain, be it smooth jazz dave koz ato norah jones dan kawan2.. yg cukup mellow untuk set sleep mode, tetep aja otak gw kerja dengan meratiin lirik2 dari si penyanyi2 kondang itu. oh wait, dave koz dont have lyrics.. well, pengecualian untuk dia krn musiknya catchy berat dan membawa hasrat2 menye. jadi dame desu!

dengan klasik, i dont need to hear my own thoughts.
if you know my thoughts, you'd get headache too. Theyre super annoying, seriously.

on a cheery note,
Harry Potter is coming! His final farewell, how will it be how will it be.
DegDeg-an. takut si Rowling dengan ego nya untuk bikin karya handal "mengharuskan" untuk ngilangin salah satu karakter kesayangan. Smoga bukan salah satu dari si trio kwek kwek tercinta itu deh. Everyone will be devastated dan eventually memboikot Rowling? ::hehehe::

one more,
Can't wait for Nodame Cantabile SP on 2008! set off in Paris.
damn. masih lama.

oh well.

danny boy

Watched Harry Potter and the order of phoenix on Monday. Yes, its movie day on Nova. The movie is rather grim for kids to watch. Don't get me wrong, film's good.. for those who don't read the book. Although its been a while since I last read it, but shouldnt the story mostly about "the order of the phoenix". The movie paid too much detail on the evil Mrs. Umbridge and Harry being "substitute" teacher for dark-arts. As far as I can remember, the house-elf of Sirius Black's house had quite a bit of sneaky part for being the leak of the Order's gathering. Must read the book again.

Yes, there are flaws. the movie, that is. However, it's rather well-presented compared to the first few.

But that aint the important bits.
whats sooo great is that, my oh my have the kids grown!
Danny boy looking oh so greatly ::hoohoo::
Rupert always have this very british grunge musician look.
Emma, well, shes grown pretti-er and become young lady herself. Although at her age, being extremely famous, she still havent lost her innocent-look. Unlike those tinseltown's young citizens we saw on Entertainment Tonight.

what shocking is that danny boy really wanna loose his boyish harry potter charm.
He made a major breakthrough late last year by posing nude for a theater play in London called "Equus". I read the story online, apparently its quite a disturbing play. Totally opposite of the kiddy Harry Potter. It's as if Dan wanna show to the world that he aint this 10 year old boy playing wizardry and magic.

Well, he proved us nicely.
Really, what can you see here but the man Daniel Radcliffe and not kiddish young potter?
Mate, you sure are grown very very very... er, mature. ;)
my my. you're hot for an underage kid, Danny boy. Hope tinseltown won't break you.

Danny boy, Strip please..
