Ichi Rittoru no Namida or, perhaps, more famous with its english words - 1 Litre of Tears. A drama inspired from a 15 year old Japanese girl (Aya) diagnosed with a deadly illness - spinocerebellar ataxia.
One thing I'm amazed, the girl lived for 10 years after her first diagnose. Unbelievable! She passed through her teenange life to adulthood carrying the illness as her everything.
It started out as a collection of diaries then published into a book before finally made into a TV-drama. Of course, bringing up her gruelling life story wont complete to touch some of the cold-hearted beings out there. It needed a tad of romance to spice things up.
Enter, Asou Haruto.
and the love affair begun.
FYI, hes not, in fact, existed in that 25 years of her life.
A fictional character to complete the missing edge of the story.
But indeed gave us more reasons to being sentimental.
It's a recommended drama, everyone said.
Tearjerker, most definitely.
Heart-moving, inspiring!
It really was.
Aya Kito.
You may have been parted from this life for 19 years but your stories still hold dear to everyone.
Also, applaud to the screenwriters.
-- thanks for adding Asou Haruto in the script! ^_^
