Flesh to Flash

Have you ever wonder why many people, especially women, are more comfortable to show some flesh during the most prestigious events. It's been like that for ages now. Most of them are even competing to get awarded to who has the tiniest cloth to wrap their bod. Let's see one of the most prestigious hollywood event, the academy award. The press would sometimes condemn any women who are wearing nice attire with proportionate length to wrap their bod. On the contrary, press would fizzes for women who show more -or all- flesh attire. It is believed to be sexy is to show some flesh. It is true actually, even I do think of that myself (see, not just a naivete judgment).

It is widely spread that women's bod is such a beautiful art. It has its' own curviness and silhouette. Thus, the more flesh you flash... you show people the art of your bod. This is true though. Who would ever deny that those models-type-of-bods are not gorgeous and a-to-die-for figure? Women who say that those models are just a-skinny-long-legged-blonde-brunette-starved-to-death people, well I would definitely say that these women are such hypocrites. Admit it, at one time we all have felt the avidity to have such perfectness.

However, people knew that these models-type-of-bods are perfect from the amount of flesh they've exposed. What if, these ladies never showed off their bod in half-and-half attire? Would they be catwalk models? Would there be subjective judgment that women's body is an art itself? Would there ever be a weight issue smeared around the globe? Hmm... Would it?

Question is, why not men? There are hardly any men would wear half-and-half attire to any prestigious award or any event as a matter of fact. How would people react when they witness brad pitt wearing only that troy outfit to oscar night? As Wohoo! as the thought wud be and bet women all over the world, at any age, would drool over him and men would die of jealousy. Yet, he wouldn't wear such attire to such event now would he? Most probly , he will be judged and maybe asked to make one or two phone calls to psychic. =P On contrast, Jennifer Lopez would wear nothing but a tiny bikini-top and a see-through cloth to act as a full-length skirt. Still, people would shout their admiration on to the dress and effectively, on to herself. And that's what they described as S.E.X.Y! A to-die-for image.

Just for once, in an imaginary la-la land... all people (men and women) would wear all nice-full-length clothing. Especially on women, would people still consider these women hot and sexy with their new appearance? Or we back to the prophet's era, where they're all considered conservative and old-fashioned. Thus, creative-minded fashionistas would eagerly design new trend of half-and-half attire, which would then be considered as an extreme breakthrough. People would start to condemn or admire these extremists. Here go again, the circle of life. It is all just a bit of repetition isnt it? a loop in our extraordinary lifestyle.
